Dear Students,
Kindly note the following information pertaining to first term, 2025-26 course registration and add/drop. For details, please refer to “First Term, 2025-26 Course Registration and Add/Drop” on RES website.
1. Schedule of First Term Course Registration
The schedule and the login time for course registration are as follows:
| 11 August 2025 (Monday) | *10:00 a.m. – 10:00 p.m. | Year 4 or above and final year students, Year 3 or above students admitted with Advanced Standing and Year 2 or above students admitted to senior-year places |
| 13 August 2025 (Wednesday) | 10:00 a.m. – 10:00 p.m. | Year 3 students and Year 2 students admitted with Advanced Standing |
| 15 August 2025 (Friday) | 10:00 a.m. – 10:00 p.m. | Year 2 students |
| * Login time for Year 5 or above students, Year 4 or above students admitted with Advanced Standing and Year 3 or above students admitted to senior-year places: |

| * Login time for other students not mentioned above: | from 11:00 a.m. |
Students should check their login time on CUSIS from 4 August 2025.
2. Application for Exceeding Term Course Load (for 1st term 2025-26)
Students should take note of Clauses 5.1-5.3 of the General Regulations Governing Full-time Undergraduate Studies regarding course load to be taken in any academic term. Any students under special circumstances who have to apply for exceeding term course load MUST submit the application under CUSIS within the following application periods for exceeding course load. They SHOULD also read the information on RES website before submitting the application. LATE applications will NOT be considered.
Application Period (Submit under CUSIS):
| 21 – 31 July 2025 | : for updating term course load for course registration period starting from 11 August 2025 |

28 August – 1 September 202 |
: for updating term course load for course add/drop period starting from 8 September 2025 |
