Dear Students,

Kindly note the following pertaining to the arrangements of the centralized course examinations in 1st term 2025-26.

1. Draft Examination Timetable
  The Draft Examination Timetable has been released today (24 October 2025) on CUSIS under the tab “Exam Timetable for UG Courses”.  Students MUST check carefully the dates, time and venues arranged for their course examination(s) included in the Draft Examination Timetable.  If students have special circumstances that render them unable to attend any examination scheduled for their courses, they should seek advice from course teachers concerned on or before 30 October 2025.
  The Draft Examination Timetable has been compiled with due consideration of the following guidelines:
  (i) at most 2 examinations is scheduled for each student per day;
(ii) if practicable, at least a 2-hour break will be arranged for students who have consecutive examinations.
  Students are reminded to observe additional guidelines/arrangements, if there are any, as advised by the course teachers and departments concerned.
2. Special Examination Arrangements
  For individual students with special educational needs (SEN), the Draft Examination Timetable released at the website of the Registration and Examinations Section (RES), Registry may NOT be applicable to them.  SEN students concerned who have reported to the Office of student Affairs (OSA) should refer to the related message in CUSIS.  The individualized FINAL Examination Timetable will be sent to them by e-mail around 21 November 2025 when related arrangements have been worked out with departments concerned.
3. Absence from Centralized Course Examinations
  In case of absence from examination, please observe the relevant University Regulations and submit application in person to the following office:
  a. Undergraduate Students: RES (10/F, YIA)
b. IASP Students: Office of Academic Links (i-Centre, 1/F, YIA)
c. Postgraduate Students: Graduate School Office (7/F, YIA)
  Please take note of the “FAQ for Absence from Centralized Course Examinations” posted under the Guidelines and Information for Centralized Course Examinations on the RES website for details in applying for absence from centralized course examinations, including the necessary supporting documents to be submitted to RES.  Early purchase of air tickets will NOT be accepted as reason for absence from examinations.
4. Final Examination Timetable
  Students MUST check the examination details, including the seat number, from the Final Examination Timetable which will be released on 7 November 2025.
