Dear Students,
Kindly note the following information pertaining to second term, 2025-26 course registration & add/drop. For details, please refer to “Second Term, 2025-26 Course Registration and Add/Drop” on RES website.
1. Schedule of Second Term Course Registration
The schedules on course registration are as follows. Students should check their login time for course registration on CUSIS. The login time will be available on CUSIS from 30 October 2025.

Students should always refer to the login time under CUSIS.
Students whose expected term of graduation is 1st term 2025-26 will NOT be allocated any time slot for course registration. If they need to register courses in 2nd term, please approach the Major Programme to seek approval, with justifications, to change the expected graduation term.
2. Application for Exceeding Term Course Load (for 1st term 2025-26)
Students should take note of Clauses 5.1-5.3 of the General Regulations Governing Full-time Undergraduate Studies regarding course load to be taken in any academic term. Any students under special circumstances who have to apply for exceeding term course load MUST submit the application under CUSIS within the following application periods for exceeding course load. They SHOULD also read the information on RES website before submitting the application. LATE application will NOT be accepted.
Year 1 students admitted to the 4-year curriculum (NOT senior-year places) should also check the RES website regarding the “Maximum Term Course Load for Year 1 Students” before submitting the application for exceeding term course load.
Application Period (Submit under CUSIS)
20 – 28 October 2025: for updating term course load for course registration period starting from 10 November 2025
22 – 30 December 2025: for updating term course load for course add/drop period starting from 12 January 2026

Please refer to the Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ) posted under RES website if students encounter any problems during course registration. Our hotline 3943 9888 and Technical support from the Information Technology Services Centre (ITSC) for course registration will be extended up to 10:30 p.m. on 10 November and 9:30 p.m. on 13, 17 and 20 November respectively.
